Hussain Sajwani established Damac Properties, a residential real estate, in 2002. He took advantage of the Dubai government verdict that permitted outsiders to own properties in the Emirates.

Sajwani bought land in an undeveloped part of town and developed it. Furthermore, in less than six months, Hussain Sajwani managed to sell units in his 38-story residential buildings.

In 2013, Hussain collaborated with Donald Trump, America’s president-elect, to develop two golf courses named after Trump. Donald Trump praised Hussain Sajwani in a press conference after he was elected as the president of the United States. Donald cited that he turned down Sajwani’s offer of a $2 billion real estate contract.

Damac Properties is an international company that develops residential, commercial, and leisure properties in the Middle East and Dubai. Hussain Sajwani is the founder of Damac Properties.

The headquarters of the company is in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Damac Properties has principles such as retaining of cash reserves and independency of escrow accounts. Additionally, the company does not hold debt for land.

Career Experiences of Hussain Sajwani

Hussain Sajwani initially owned a food service business. His clients included the United States Army. Sajwani also worked with Americans in Somalia, the Gulf, and Bosnia.
